Always wonder if anyone ever reads these About Me pages. You could craft an amazing story about your life, spend hours tweaking it, and yet no one will ever see it. That’s a rather sombre thought.

So, what can I tell you about me that’s worth knowing?

I’m a 40+ (that’s my answer now whenever I’m asked to pick an age) male from England.

I’ve worked in the tech industry in one way or another for the last 30-odd years. I’ve done a bit of everything: tech support, project engineering, coding, company director, trainer, and general dogsbody.

I have a love for retro tech because it reminds me of happier times—jumpers for goalposts—when I felt like I actually knew what I was doing with my life. These days, it’s more about trying not to run out of money before the end of the month.
